What does the Intelligent-T mean to the customer?
- Price stability and cost savings on per-minute rates: The per-minute rates for most Intelligent-T
customers will be among the lowest available. In addition, for many customers located in states
with high-cost, intra-state rates, UCN customers may experience a significant intra-state, per-minute rate reduction.
- Carrier Redundancy: UCN has the ability to terminate calls through any carrier with which we interconnect.
If one carrier increases their rates or experiences an outage, UCN can seamlessly switch traffic to another carrier.
- Dedicated access to inContact call enhancing services that can improve productivity and quality of
customer contact experience
- Faster change orders for UCN Intelligent-T customers than for the typical carrier circuit. On average, a change
order request on a typical carrier circuit can take 4-10 days. Since UCN owns and manages its own switch supporting
Intelligent-T circuits, change orders for trunk groups, delivered ANI, DNIS or any other switched-based change that
can be completed without affecting the local loop, can be implemented by UCN in 1-2 days. Changes that affect the
local loop, such as signaling or location changes, will follow the usual carrier specified timeframes.
How is the Intelligent-T Priced?
There are three price events associated with Intelligent-T service:
- A non-recurring install fee,
- a monthly recurring loop charge and
- a per-minute rate.
Intelligent-T customers may experience cost savings for both
inter-state per-minute rates and intra-state per-minute rates. Contact us to
